Architect and urban planner, born 1961, after graduation on the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian Technical University (1989) started professional career in the Spatial Planning Bureau in Katowice, shortly achieved CEO positions in spatial planning institutions – SPB and Office of Urban Development in Bytom, then Chairman of the Board in a joint- stock company - Agency for Local Initiatives and manager of the Regional Service Centre for Investors in Katowice. Was elected for Deputy Chairman of the Association ‘Forum for Revitalisation’, then worked as the head of Revitalisation Department in the Municipality of Lublin. Academic teacher of revitalisation and urban planning on the Curie – Sklodowska University and the John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin. Counsellor and moderator in programming and implementing revitalisation processes in cities. Author and co-author of several publications on revitalisation as well on the creation of urban public spaces and townscape’s transformation.
