Graduate of the University of Łódź and the University of Warsaw (Poland). Jacek Podgórski has many years of management expertise acquired across companies representing various sectors. He started his career in Petrobank (currently Nordea Bank Polska) and between 1997–2004 he worked for Pekao S.A. Group, where he served as Vice-President and CFO at Pekao Development and Pekao Leasing. In both institutions Jacek Podgórski was responsible for introducing and executing business efficiency initiatives. He joined ORLEN Group in January 2006 with the post of the Management Board Member & CFO in ORLEN Asfalt. Between 2007 -2014 he acted as the Management Board Member of Basell Orlen Polyolefins, where his responsibilities included finance management, accounting and IT. Since November 2014 Jacek Podgórski serves as CEO and Managing Director of ANWIL S.A.
