Piotr Kowalski is the Head of Fitch Ratings Warsaw office, responsible for the agency's activity in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Piotr has 19 years of experience in the ratings industry. Prior to joining Fitch, he was working in the Financial Institutions and Crisis Management practices of Burson-Marsteller, the biggest PR company in the world at that time. From 1992 to 1995, he was Vice President responsible for marketing of an American SME lender in Poland. Piotr started his professional career in the Polish administration where he worked between 1990 and 1992. Piotr holds a master’s Degree in Economics from the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland) and a MBA from the University of Wisconsin (USA).
