Piotr Mocek - Ph.D., (Eng.), has graduated from the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Metallurgy of Silesian University of Technology (2003). In 2008 he has received a degree of doctor of technical sciences from the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering of Silesian University of Technology. Currently, he is chief of Laboratory of Process Energy at the Department Energy Saving and Air Protection of the Central Mining Institute (GIG). Specialization: Process Energy, modelling mass, momentum and energy transfer processes in industrial devices and installations, optimization and design of mass and energy conversion systems, especially energy recovery systems for high-temperature processes.
