In charge for the regional headquarter of Hitachi Europe in Poland since its establishment in 2007. Responsible for strategy and growth of Hitachi Group in Central Europe (Poland, Czech, Slovakia and Baltics). Since the very beginning he decided to focus local Hitachi activity on power energy sector, which resulted in successful contract award for the 1075MW powerplant in Kozienice in 2012. He supported also directly acquisition of one of the financial services companies by Hitachi Capital in 2014. Taking into account a wide-range spectrum of Hitachi Group activity, he is engaged in sectors such as energy, railway, IT, high-tech and medical equipment. Previously between 2002 and 2006, Piotr Zawadzki was a CEO of an advisory company specialising in market intelligence services. He gained the relevant experience in marketing working for one of the pharmaceutical leaders (US Pharmacia actually USP Zdrowie) and at the market research company ACNielsen. He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics and Aarhus School of Business in Denmark. Furthermore, he completed an executive management program at the Harvard Business School in Boston and Advanced Management Program (AMP) at IESE Business School.
