In January 2013 Steve commenced his posting as Senior Trade Commissioner and Counsellor (Commercial) for Central Europe. Based in Warsaw, Poland he is also responsible for Austrade’s team in Prague, Czech Republic. Austrade in Central Europe covers the 19 countries stretching from the Baltic Sea to the Balkans region and Greece. Since joining Austrade in 2009, Steve has held a number of roles including as State Director, Western Australia and managing Austrade trade advisory teams. Prior to joining Austrade, Steve held senior management roles in economic development agencies in both NSW and Tasmania, in addition to extensive experience in the corporate and commercial banking sector. He has post graduate qualifications from the University of New South Wales and the University of Technology Sydney, and is a graduate of the University of Sydney.
