Wojciech Cellary

Prof. Wojciech Cellary is a computer scientist, head of the Department of Information Technology at the Poznan University of Economics. His research interests are currently focused on electronic business and economy, electronic government, information society, smart cities and multimedia. In his professional career he worked at nine universities in Poland, France, and Italy. He is an author of 10 books and over 150 scientific papers. He served as a consultant to many Polish ministries, Parliament and Senate, as well as European Commission. He was a general or program chair of 38 national and international scientific conferences, and moreover a member of 310 conference program committees. He was a leader of many national and international scientific and industrial projects supported by Polish, French and American industry, Polish ministries and European Commission. He is a member of several scientific associations. In 2010-2011 he served as a chairman of the Council of Digitization that was advisory body to the Minister of Interior and Administration. In 2012-2013 he was a member of that council that was advisory body to the Minister of Administration and Digitization. From 2002 he is a member of the Council of Education Digitization that is advisory body to the Minister of National Education.
