The 18th edition of the European Economic Congress will take place on April 22-24, 2026, once again turning Katowice into the economic heart of Europe. As tradition has it, the International Congress Centre and the adjoining Spodek arena – symbols of open dialogue on the future of Europe – will become a meeting place for business people, politicians, representatives of local government, and academics.

Organiser of the European Economic Congress, the PTWP Group has for a few months now been working on the next edition of the event, engaging in talks and consultation with the market in creating a pool of key economic subjects. The programming team has almost finished selecting key themes that will determine the course of next year’s debates, while the agenda of the 18th European Economic Congress will include the most critical economic and social issues of today. Lasting three days, the congress will provide space where business people, politicians, scientists, civil servants, entrepreneurs, investors, representatives of local government and experts seek answers to the most important questions on the future of Poland and Europe.

“It takes a full year to organize the European Economic Congress. We are at the end of finishing its thematic scope that will form the basis for the agenda. Each edition of the EEC is meant to address current social and economic challenges, a reason why we put so much emphasis on broad consultation. We listen to everyone contributing to the congress, so all proposals are welcome. Dialogue has enabled us to create an event that is in a league of its own, guaranteeing top quality and relevant content,” says Wojciech Kuśpik, president of the PTWP Group, the initiator and organiser of the European Economic Congress.

Next year's edition, just like the previous ones, will be preceded by EEC Trends Scheduled for February 9th, 2026, in Warsaw, the event is a prologue to the congress taking place in April. The invited business people, politicians and journalists will meet in Poland’s capital city to discuss key social and economic trends that will set the tone for the discussion in Katowice.
