Marta Sękulska-Wrońska
Architect, CEO, Partner, WXCA
Architect, Partner and CEO of WXCA. President of the Warsaw Branch of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP) in 2019-2023, member of the SARP Competition Judges Council and the Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland.
She specializes in the development of documentation for complex projects in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and landscape architecture. In her design practice, she is guided by a strong sensitivity to the social, cultural, and environmental context of architecture, which she sees as an integrating platform for dialogue. She is a co-author of numerous award-winning projects, including the Polish Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai, the Polish History Museum and the Polish Army Museum at the Warsaw Citadel — one of the largest cultural investments in Poland since 1989. Together with her team, she has been nominated three times for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award for the European Centre for Geological Education in Chęciny, the Palmiry Museum – Memorial Site, and the redevelopment of the historic Żeromski Theatre in Kielce. She also co-developed the vision for a new district on the site of the former FSO factory and the design for the reconstruction of the western frontage of Piłsudski Square, including the Saxon Palace and the Brühl Palace.
