KAYAH x EEC2025

The audience of the second concert on the stage of #EEC2025 will be treated to an evening in the company of a musical all-rounder, most frequently associated with genres like folk, pop, soul and jazz. Apart from authoring numerous hits, she has also shaped Poland’s music industry. This year, she celebrates the 30th anniversary of her debut album titled “Kamień” (eng. Stone).

Many of her songs have topped the charts. Among them are “Za późno”, “Supermenka”, “Na językach”, “Testosteron”, “Prawy do lewego”, “Śpij Kochanie, śpij” or the christmas “Ding Dong”. Since the release of her debut album titled “Kamień” in 1995, she has recorded ten albums presenting her fascination with folk (“Kayah i Bregović”, Transoriental Orchestra”), club music (“Zebra”, “JakaJaKayah”, “Stereo typ”), soul & jazz (“Kamień”, “Skała”), and even classical music (“Kayah & Royal Quartet”). She recorded the first “MTV Unplugged” album in Central and Eastern Europe.

She is known for her many musical collaborations, including with world-famous artists like Cesaria Evora, Goran Bregović, Teofilo Chantre, Idan Raichel, or Yasmin Levy. Each of her albums has been certified gold, platinum, or even diamond.
