This accolade is not merely symbolic, but a mark of exceptional leadership, credibility, and managerial excellence.
In this year’s edition, awards will be presented in three categories:
- large enterprise,
- medium-sized enterprise,
- small and micro enterprise.
The competition is open not only to CEOs, owners, and managing directors, but also to senior executives responsible for key areas of business activity whose leadership has played a decisive role in their organisations’ success.
During the gala, a letter of intent will be ceremonially signed between Polska Press and the University of Economics in Katowice. The evening will also feature the presentation of the prestigious “Business Wings” awards, established in March 2026 by Prof. Celina M. Olszak, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Economics in Katowice. This distinction represents the highest expression of recognition for entities that transcend the boundaries of standard business activity.
The “Business Wings” awards symbolise vision, courage, and determination in fostering enduring partnerships between academia and the business community. They honour those who understand that a modern economy is built on knowledge, and that the advancement of science is most effectively achieved through close cooperation with business practice.
More than a statuette, the award signifies membership in an elite circle of partners who, together with the University of Economics in Katowice, actively shape the future of modern education and a resilient, forward-looking economy.
