Anna Link

She has over 15 years' experience in banking. She started her career at the Rabobank Group, where she managed key international accounts. She then joined Santander Bank Polska, where she developed and implemented sector strategies within the corporate banking segment.

At BNP Paribas Group, she built and managed relationships with strategic clients in the food and agriculture sector, implemented supply chain finance solutions and delivered sector strategies for the Group in Ukraine and Turkey. She later served as Managing Director of the SME and Corporate Banking Strategy and Development Division. In this role, she led the development and execution of strategy for the SME and Corporate Banking areas, the transformation of the credit process, the enhancement of the client and employee experience, and the coordination of group-wide initiatives.

Anna Link assumed the role of Executive Director of the Sustainable Development and Agribusiness Area on 1 January 2026. This was a newly established organisational unit created through the merger of the Sustainable Development Area and the Food & Agro Hub. In her current role, she is responsible for translating transformation ambitions into concrete, measurable actions and client solutions. She leverages her diverse experience — both sectoral and commercial — to create tangible value, positioning the bank as a partner and catalyst for change, not just a financing provider. She places particular emphasis on supporting the energy transition, the decarbonisation of agri-food production, the protection of biodiversity, and the efficient management of water resources — areas that are becoming critical to the resilience and competitiveness of the sector. An important element of this strategy is collaboration with tech partners, which enables the deployment of innovative solutions and the scaling of sustainable production practices.

She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw and of the Finance and Accounting programme at the Warsaw School of Economics. She has also completed executive programmes in strategy and management at Stanford University and IESE Business School.
