Artur Trela is an economist holding degrees from the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw, the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), where he completed his doctoral studies at the Collegium of Management and Finance, and the Business School of Warsaw University of Technology, where he earned an MBA in Artificial Intelligence, Finance and Technology.
Mr. Trela began his professional career in 2009 at Credit Suisse Asset Management (Polska) SA, where he supported the Asset Management Team.
From 2010, he spent 12 years at PKO TFI SA, progressing from Trader to Portfolio Manager and ultimately to Deputy Director of the Asset Management Department, where he oversaw asset management processes at the largest investment fund company in Poland and served as a member of its key committees. He subsequently joined the PZU Group, where he served as the Managing Director for Investments responsible for overseeing and leading the work of the Investment Division, which encompassed a broad range of investment areas. As a member of PZU Group’s committees, he played a key role in managing the ALM and own funds portfolio. He also served as Vice-President of the TFI PZU SA Management Board and then Advisor to the President of the PZU SA Management Board.
Artur Trela specialises in domestic and international investments, including government and corporate bonds, commercial real estate, Private Credit, Private Equity, Venture Capital and equities. His experience also includes oversight of PZU Group’s own real estate investments, development of an IT system, including process automation, and the management of relationships with investors, banks and advisers. He actively contributes to the development of Poland's financial market.
