Position: Rector
Rector of the Krakow University of Economics for the 2024–2028 term, Associate Professor at the Krakow University of Economics (dr hab.). He served as Dean of the College of Management and Quality Sciences (2019–2024) and is the Head of the Department of Organization and Management Methods. He is a member of the Committee on Organizational and Management Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Chair of the Commission for Students and Doctoral Candidates at the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP). He serves as the scientific editor of the quarterly Organizacja i Kierowanie (Organization and Management) and the bimonthly Zeszyty Naukowe (Krakow Review of Economics and Management). Furthermore, he has directed postgraduate studies at the Krakow School of Business (KUE) in the following programs: "Improvement of Managerial Skills" – a dedicated program for the management staff of Grupa Kapitałowa Kęty SA (2007–2008); "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship" – a program for teachers co-financed by the National Bank of Poland (2010–2011); "Comarch Executive Academy" – an MBA-type postgraduate program for the management staff of Comarch (2015–2019); and "Human Resources and Payroll" (2014–2020). Professor Ziębicki specializes in management methods, organizational development, compensation systems, and information and communication processes. He is the author or co-author of over 230 scientific publications, including monographs, articles, and conference proceedings, focusing on organization and management methods, new management concepts, organizational effectiveness, compensation systems, and information management. He has also led or participated in over 30 research and implementation projects for the business sector.
