Erik Emilsson has held his current role since March 2022 with responsibility to cover multinational clients operating in Poland. Since December 2024 he is also responsible for Ukraine.
Erik joined Citi in New York in 2011 as part of a global cross-franchise post-MBA program. Prior to his current position, Erik has served in different roles across international markets including Warsaw, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Stockholm and, most recently, Shanghai. In Shanghai, 2018-2022, Erik served as an APAC Regional Account Manager (RAM) covering Asia headquarters.
His post-collegiate career started in 2006 with Ernst & Young’s global audit department based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Born and raised in Sweden, Erik holds an undergraduate degree in Business Economics and a minor in Accounting from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) with an MBA from the Hong Kong U. of Science & Technology (additional exchange semester at Columbia Business School).
