Ionut Farcas is a President of the Central and Eastern Europe Zone (CEE) at Schneider Electric. He is responsible for the development of the company’s operations and the implementation of its strategy in the region, supporting the energy transition, electrification and the digitalization of the economy.
He joined Schneider Electric in 2014 as Vice President of the Energy Division in Romania, bringing extensive experience in the energy sector gained across several European markets. In the following years, he held a number of leadership positions within the company, including General Manager responsible for the markets of Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo, as well as Vice President for Power Products business in Europe.
Ionut specializes in the energy transition, energy management solutions, and the development of technologies supporting more efficient and sustainable energy systems.
