Jerry Piskorski
Director – Candu New Build – Poland, Candu Energy Inc, an AtkinsRéalis company
Has been working in the nuclear energy sector for two decades. As Director of New Build Projects – Poland at Candu Energy Inc., he leads strategic development and initiatives in the nuclear energy sector, supporting the implementation of new nuclear projects in Poland and across Europe. He focuses on building partnerships with energy companies, government institutions and emerging nuclear programmes to enable the effective preparation and implementation of projects.
He began his career at Ontario Power Generation in 2008 as an Inspection Engineer, where he contributed to advancements in fuel channel inspection techniques. He went on to manage the Fuel Channel Engineering Group, leading lifecycle and core assessment programs, and later held leadership roles across plant performance, turbine inspection, and emergency management.
Jerry is a licensed Professional Engineer in Canada and a certified Project Management Professional.
He holds a degree in Engineering Physics from McMaster University.
