Katarzyna Byczkowska
President of the Management Board, BASF; President, Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce
She graduated from Wrocław University of Technology and completed an MBA at the University of Calgary. She worked for Dow Chemical in Warsaw and London for 10 years. She began her career at BASF in 2005 as Sales Manager for Northern Europe in the UK. She then served as Commercial Director for EUC (2008-2012). 2013-2017
she was Vice President, Sales & Regional Market Development Iberia in Barcelona. She spent 2017-18 in Vienna as Head of Controlling and Projects for Central Europe. In May 2018, she took up the position of Managing Director of BASF Poland. Since 2023, she is President of the Board of AHK Poland.
