Position: Managing Director of the Security Division
Manager with over ten years’ experience in the area of security, business continuity, crisis management, and critical infrastructure protection. For years, professionally involved with the public sector. Currently, as Managing Director of the Security Division, Krzysztof Dąbrowski is responsible for internal security at Urząd Komisji Nadzoru Finansowego (UKNF) and market supervision activities in the field of cybersecurity. Since January 2023, he has coordinated the UKNF’s preparatory work to take up the tasks under DORA.
In 2019–2022, he served as Managing Director of the Management and Organisation Division, responsible for internal transformation of the UKNF, including implementation of management systems, capacity and structure building for security, and introduction of electronic document flow. Krzysztof Dąbrowski was also responsible for the operation of the UKNF during the pandemic.
Prior to that, for two years he served as Deputy Director of the Safety and Information Security Department at the Ministry of Finance. From 2010 to 2017, he served as Director of the Security and Crisis Management Unit at Mazowieckie Provincial Administration, gaining extensive experience in security. As a plenipotentiary to the provincial governor, he was responsible for security during many international events, e.g. Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU (2011), UEFA Euro 2012, and NATO summit (2016).
He completed the Inter-faculty Individual Studies in Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MISMaP) at the University of Warsaw, and an Executive MBA course at the Gdansk Foundation for Management Development (GFKM). He also completed post-graduate programme in cybersecurity management at Kozminski University.
