From 2002 to 2016 a member, later Deputy Chair, and since 2012 Chair of the State Commission on Aircraft Accident Investigation.
Specializes in transport safety issues, particularly aviation safety. Since 2010, academic lecturer at the Warsaw University of Technology.
Licensed airplane and glider pilot, with First Class Glider Instructor qualifications and First Class Test Pilot qualifications.
Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal “NiT – Science, Innovation, Technology” from 2003 to 2007.
Graduate of the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology.
