Maciej Ogórkiewicz

Has been with ING since 2010. Initially, he co-created the global IT security service platforms at ING Hubs Poland. In 2017, he took up the position of the IT Security Department Director and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at ING Bank Śląski. Between 2019 and 2020, he also held that function for the retail banking business line in the ING head office in the Netherlands. As part of that function, he was responsible for the safe operations of the division servicing individual clients as well as small- and medium-sized enterprises in Australia, the Philippines, Turkey, Romania, the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal.
In 2022, he became the Global Head of Attack Surface Management and was responsible for protecting ING Group from cyberattacks. Later on, he held the function of the Global Head of Security Detection and Response. In 2024, Maciej Ogórkiewicz took up an additional function as a member of the managing team at ING Hubs Poland. Maciej Ogórkiewicz is a computer science graduate at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science, at the Silesian University of Technology.
