Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Energy.

Since 1994, he has been associated with the mining sector. For nearly 30 years he worked in mines within the structure of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A., where he progressed through all levels of his career. He served as Director of the “Borynia-Zofiówka” and “Pniówek” coal mines, as well as Deputy Director of the Production Security Office and later Deputy Director of the Production Office at the Management Board Office of JSW S.A.

He is a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, where he completed engineering studies in mining and mineral deposit exploitation technology, and obtained a master’s degree in the organization and economics of mining. In 2023, he obtained a doctoral degree from the Silesian Environmental Doctoral Studies conducted at the Training and Information Center of the Central Mining Institute (GIG) in Katowice.

He has collaborated with numerous scientific and research institutions. He holds expert qualifications in the field of mining plant operations, granted by the President of the State Mining Authority, in several groups related to natural hazards.

He has also been involved in teaching activities, including working as a teacher at the District Center for Continuing Education in Wodzisław Śląski and as a trainer in vocational training centers.
