Expert in the commercialization of scientific research and intellectual property management, with extensive experience in the high-tech sector. She earned her PhD in Physical Sciences with distinction from the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.
She holds qualifications in R&D management, intellectual property protection, corporate valuation, and the commercialization of scientific research. She participated in the first edition of the Polish government’s Top 500 Innovators program and completed the Science-Management-Commercialization program at Stanford University in California in 2011.
Dr. Wachowicz played an active role in the establishment of the Polish Space Agency from the ground up, including the development of its operational model. For three years, she headed the Department of Strategy and International Cooperation at the Polish Space Agency.
She has professional experience in research institutions (Space Research Centre PAS, Institute of Geophysics PAS), public administration (Polish National Police Headquarters, Polish Space Agency), the non-governmental sector (Foundation for Polish Science), and the private sector (R&D project management).
Her professional interests focus on the transfer of space technologies and intellectual property valuation. She is the author of numerous scientific publications related to space technology transfer.
