Monika Szaraniec
PhD in Laws, university professor, legal adviser, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Head of the Department of Public Economic Law and Labour Law, Cracow University of Economics
Professor at the Cracow University of Economics, attorney-at-law; Dean of the College of Law at the Cracow University of Economics; Head of the Department of Public Economic Law and Labour Law. Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University. She is currently a member of the Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances – Polish Section and a member of the Consumer Protection Advisory Council at the Board of the Małopolska Region. Author of over 100 academic publications, including 2 monographs. Co-editor of 6 academic monographs, 2 textbooks and 10 chapters in various textbooks. Speaker at numerous national and international conferences; lecturer in postgraduate studies at the Institute of Law of the Cracow University of Economics and the Cracow School of Business, as well as in postgraduate studies at the Ministry of Finance. She conducts training at the Polish Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Association. For her academic, teaching and organisational work, she has received numerous awards from the Rector of the Cracow University of Economics. She is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee to the Financial Ombudsman.
