Oyundari Navaan-Yunden
Position: Ambassador of Mongolia to Poland
H.E. Ambassador Oyundari Navaan-Yunden is a Mongolian diplomat and public figure. She holds a degree in Economics and Management from Seruuleg University, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Maastricht University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the National University of Mongolia.
She began her professional career in the 1990s as an expert and consultant for international development initiatives, including projects implemented by TACIS, UNDP, and IFC. From 2000 to 2013, she held senior leadership positions at the Ministry of Environment and served as the Representative of the City of Ulaanbaatar in Beijing. Between 2014 and 2015, she served as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and from 2016 to 2020 she was a Member of the State Great Khural (Parliament of Mongolia), where she chaired the Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Mongolia–EU Parliamentary Group.
From 2020 to 2024, she worked as an adviser in both the private sector and political institutions. On 7 March 2025, she assumed the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Poland. She has also represented Mongolia on the international stage, notably serving as Vice‑Chair of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
