Piotr Masłowski
Senator of the Republic of Poland, Expert in Regional Development
I was born in 1977 in Rydułtowy, and I have lived in Rybnik for over 20 years. My micro‑world is Silesia.
I graduated in political science and completed postgraduate studies in human resources management and in the management of social assistance institutions.
For many years, my professional world revolved around non‑governmental organizations. I headed the Rybnik-based Center for the Development of Social Initiatives (CRIS), served on the board of the SPLOT Network, and represented NGOs in various bodies at both regional and national levels.
Later, for nearly nine years, I served as Deputy Mayor of Rybnik, responsible for social affairs, housing, European funds, and several other areas.
In October 2023, I became Senator of the Republic of Poland. I focus on issues related to energy and the transformation of my region. I care deeply about keeping Poland within European structures. And I have not forgotten my professional roots.
