Piotr Orleański, electronics engineer, director of Space Research Center of Polish Academy of Sciences (CBK PAN), professor at CBK PAN and at the Jagiellonian University. He has gained extensive experience related to the construction of over twenty satellite scientific instruments. Nine objects co-authored by him are still working in space in the orbits of Earth, Mars, the Sun and Mercury. Lecturer at WUT, WAT and CBK PAN, member of the Scientific Councils of the CBK PAN, CAMK PAN, NCBJ and CTK AGH, advisor and expert of many boards related to the activity of the Polish space sector. Long-term reviewer of grant applications and expert monitoring the implementation of grants awarded to the European Commission
