Engineer, PhD in technical sciences in the discipline of computer science, professor in the Department of Computer Networks and Distributed Systems at the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology. Permanent advisor to the Digitalisation, Innovation and Emerging Technologies Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland in 2012-2015 and 2020-2023. Principal consultant and co-author of the "Strategy for Information Society Development of the Silesian Voivodeship 2020+".
