Yann Barou is responsible at Somfy Group for developing operations across international markets, including Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Latin America, as well as Asia and Oceania. As a Member of the Management Board and the Executive Committee, he plays an active role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and overseeing its operational implementation.

He has been with Somfy for eight years. Between 2018 and 2025, he served as Managing Director of Somfy Eastern Europe, where he was in charge of business development in the region. During this time, he led a comprehensive organizational transformation, focusing on better aligning structures with customer needs, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening team capabilities. These efforts resulted in a threefold increase in the region’s revenue over seven years.
