About the event

The European Economic Congress (EEC) is the largest and most influential forum for debate on the future of the economy in Central Europe. For nearly two decades, it has brought together representatives of business, politics, science, local government, international governments and EU commissioners, creating a space for dialogue, the exchange of experience and the building of cooperation. It is a place where discussions on the key challenges of our time translate into concrete ideas, initiatives and action.

The 19th edition of the EEC will continue this tradition. The debates will focus on the processes and phenomena shaping the future of Poland, Europe and the world. The changing global balance of power, the growing importance of security and resilience, the struggle for the competitiveness of European industry, the energy and technological transition, and social and demographic change are redefining the conditions for the development of states, businesses and entire societies. Diagnosing these changes is not enough; decisions, concrete solutions and effective action are needed.

For three days, EEC 2027 will be a space for debates, meetings and conversations that bring together different perspectives and experiences. Congress participants will discuss how to strengthen the position of Poland and Europe, develop industry, invest in energy and infrastructure, and harness the potential of new technologies. Social issues will also have an important place, including the future of work, skills development and quality of life in a world of dynamic change.

The world is changing. Priorities, needs and the rules of the game are changing. What remains constant is the need for dialogue, cooperation and action. For 19 years, this has been the essence of the European Economic Congress.

We invite you to Katowice to take part in debates, exchange experience, network and help shape the next edition of the EEC.

The event is organised by Grupa PTWP, publisher of online news portals and organiser of leading industry events in Poland.
