The 12th European Economic Congress will be held on 2-4 September. At the same time the European Tech and Start-up Days, for 5 years accompanying the largest economic event in Central Europe, has been postponed on 3-4 September 2020.
“The current situation is definitely going to be discussed at the European Economic Congress 2020 in Katowice. At the moment it is difficult to predict how the pandemic will develop and what will be its consequences . We believe that on 2-4 September the 12th edition of the largest business event in this part of Europe will take place in the form we have always organized it - among a large and international community of knowledgeable participants” says Wojciech Kuśpik, CEO of the PTWP Group organizing the European Economic Congress in Katowice and the European Tech and Start-up Days.
With WHO announcing the COVID-19 pandemic and the Health Minister of the Republic of Poland issuing the Ruling of March 13th on declaring the state of epidemic threat safe and responsible organisation of the European Economic Congress in Katowice and the European Tech and Start-up Days in Q2 2020 has become impossible.
