Pieczonka has been for many years involved in development of economic cooperation between P.R.C. and Poland Born in Katowice in 1959 Graduated from the Academy of Economic – Foreign Trade Faculty Worked for Kopex Co Katowice, dealing with exports of the Polish mining machinery to non European markets, including China, 1991 – 1996 – served as the commercial attache in the Embassy of Poland in Kuwait, In 2003 he returned to diplomatic service, first as the head of the Commercial Section of the Consulate General of Poland in Hong Kong and then, since 2008 till date he is the chief of the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Consulate of Poland in Shanghai. Mr. A. Pieczonka co-organized the programme of promotion of the Polish economy during Shanghai World Expo 2010.
