Graduated from University of Economics in Katowice and Kozminski University in Warsaw, where she received MBA. Since 2001 she is the City Treasurer of Katowice. Long term member of the team for Public Finance System KWRiST. Six years ago she was elected as Chair of the Treasurers Committee of the Union of Polish Metropolises, last year she was elected as President of the Management Board of the Club of Friends of the University of Economics in Katowice. Reputable lecturer and organizer of several conferences, thematic meetings, scientific conferences, and also participant of nationwide meetings as an expert in the field of public finance. Author and co-author of numerous publications and articles on public finances. Danuta Kamińska was awarded with the Golden Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland. In addition to her work, she has a passion for traveling, meeting people and getting to know their culture, she is interested in politics, painting, music and psychology.
