She is co-initiator and director of Zamek Cieszyn (the Castle Cieszyn), a unique design center in Poland. This is the place where you manage to combine design, innovative entrepreneurship and new technologies together with history and traditional craft. The Castle promotes design as the key to the regional development and the way of improving public services and space in order to make our lives better. Ewa Golebiowska is an active design promoter. In her lectures and articles she underline that design helps to create new possibilities both in business and social projects. In 2011 she joined the board of EIDD - Design for All Europe an organization devoted to improving the quality of life by design for all. Since June 2013 she is first woman – President in 20 years of EIDD history. She appreciates family and friendship, she likes to travel, read and cook.
