Orthopaedist, health manager, Doctor of Economics, since 2016 – general director of Silesian Branch of Polish National Health Fund.
He graduated from School of Medicine at Medical Academy of Silesia in Katowice (he obtained MD diploma) and Academy of Economics in Katowice (he finished postgraduate studies in managing). He received the doctor’s degree at Department of Management at Lodz University of Technology.
He was managing director of some clinics, health centers and hospitals in Chorzów and Katowice. For over a year he had been Chorzów’s vice-mayor responsible for health, economy and investments, architecture and spatial economy.
