Julianna Orbán Máté

Company: European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Via Carpatia

Position: Director

Since 2013 she is a director of the Via Carpatia European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation. In 2017 she become a Head of Regional Development, Land-use Planning and Environment Department of the Košice Self-Governing Region.
She graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University of Košice in 2008. She obtained PhD degree on the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University of Košice in 2011.
She is interested in territorial cooperation and local economic government. She is working on strengthening the cross border cooperation between the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County and the Košice Self-Governing Region especially through the realization of common projects and programs of cross border cooperation.
