Kazimierz Kujda is a Doctor of Science, electrical engineer, economist, expert in management. Since October 2015 participates in the National Development Council, consulting-advisory body of the President of Poland. He experience includes many years in management, specifically in the field of ecology. Mr. Kujda has twice served as a member of the Management Board of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management including 4 years as the President of the board.

He has completed postgraduate studies in electrical engineering at the Warsaw Technical University and in production economy at the Main School of Planning and Statistics (presently the Warsaw School of Economics). In 1986 he defended his doctoral dissertation in electrical engineering at the Warsaw Technical University and in 1996 he obtained an MBA with distinction at the Centre of Managers Education from the Warsaw University Faculty of Management.

His close ties with the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management started in 1998. He first served as Vice-president of the Management Board (1998-2000), next as President of the Management Board (2000-2002) and expert (2002-2004). Mr. Kujda served again as President of NFEPWM Management Board in the years 2006-2008, and earlier as Vice-president (2005-2006). Additional experience in the field of ecology and related financial, budgetary and investment matters he acquired in the years 1998-2001 and 2006 as a member of the Supervisory Board of Bank Ochrony Środowiska (Bank for Environmental Protection).

Mr. Kujda is the manager specializing in strategic management and long-term planning (financial and marketing), with extensive experience in ecological projects implementation and use of European Union funds. His previous managerial activities in the field of environmental protection have mainly concerned tender procedures, negotiating and completing contracts, legal and financial supervision over investments.

In the years 2008-2015 Mr. Kujda served as the President of the Management Board of the partnership Srebrna, which he also managed in the years 1995-1998. As the management expert he also held position of the Chancellor of Bogdan Jański Academy in Warsaw (2004-2005) and the Chancellor of Bogdan Jański Management and Entrepreneurship Academy in Łomża (2004-2007). He has also participated in the Management Board of the Solidarity Press Foundation and the Management Board of the partnership Słowo Niezależne.

At the beginning of his professional career Mr. Kujda has worked as the department manager and chief specialist in Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (Polish Electrical Grid company) and in Wspólnota Energetyki i Węgla Brunatnego (Community of Energy Production and Lignite) he has been chief specialist responsible for strategic planning.

Present position of the President of the Management Board of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management Mr. Kujda holds (for the third time) since December 18, 2015.
