Michael Kern, born 1964 in Heidelberg, MA in Economics, studied at the Universities of Karlsruhe and Kiel. After acquiring his degree, he started to work for a trading company in Germany. 1994 till 2000 German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Oslo, Manager of the Business Information Department; 2001-2005 German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Deputy CEO of the Chamber; July 2005-October 2010 German-Slovak Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Bratislava, CEO of the Chamber; from November 2010 CEO of the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Poland) in Warsaw.
