Since the beginning of his professional career he has been managing road transport enterprises. Since 1990 he has been actively participating in the local government work, as a member and a delegate of Katowice Regional Councilors. From 1991 to 2002 he was a president of Zabrze. Since the beginning of his social activities, he has been engaged in integrating and developing urban transport in Upper Silesia agglomeration. One of the initiators and creators of the Municipal Transport Union GOP, where he has been working from 2002, and which Board he has been leading since 2004.
