Łukasz Szeliga
Position: Polish Paralympic Committee
the President of Polish Paralympic Committee (since 2015) and Polish Sports Association for the Disabled “Start” (since 2013), board member of the European Paralympic Committee. Multiple Polish champion in alpine skiing, Paralympic team member for Paralympic Games in Nagano (1998), Salt Lake City (2002) and Torino (2006). Coach of the paralympic alpine skiing team for Paralympic Games in Sochi (2014), coach assistant for Vancouver (2010). Former President of Beskidzkie Sport and Rehabilitation Association “Start” in Bielsko-Biała. When he was 16 he lost his leg due to the motorcycle accident. In 2019 awarded with Medal for Merit of the Polish Olympic Committee and Silver Sport Badge (the Bronze one received in 2018). Since March5th 2020 member of the Social Sport Council.
