What does it mean for a company to be Polish?

23 April 2026 • 15:00 -16:00 • conference room 6

Thematic scope

“Business has a nationality” – what defines it? The definition of a local company and critical criteria. Well-established foreign capital in the Polish market on one hand, and originally Polish companies with a major foreign shareholder on the other. What matters: cooperation within local supply chains, reinvesting and creating added value for the economy, the role of the labour market, transfer of technologies and innovations, tax residence. What is the risk of being dependent on foreign entities? How could the “identification” of companies impact the preference of potential foreign investors, transfer of technologies and know-how?
