Agnieszka Gorgoń-Komor
Senator of the Republic of Poland, Deputy Chairman of the Health Committee
Senator of the Republic of Poland of the 10th and 11th terms, Doctor of Medical Science, specialist in internal medicine and cardiology, Vice-Chair of the Senate Health Committee and of the Parliamentary Local Government Team. She is the Chair of the Parliamentary Team for Scientific Research and Innovation in Healthcare, the Parliamentary Cardiology Team, the Parliamentary Team for the Safety of Medical Professionals, the Parliamentary Team for Public–Private Partnership, and the Parliamentary Team for Caravan Tourism.
She is also a member of the Parliamentary Team for Youth, the Parliamentary Team for Electromobility, the Parliamentary Team for the Regulation of the Taxi and Passenger Transport Market, the Parliamentary Team for the Protection of Lakes, the Senate Team for the Development of the Silesian Voivodeship, the Senate Committee on Family, Senior and Social Policy, the Senate Team for the Polish Red Cross and the Honorary Blood Donation Movement in Poland, the Senate Team for the Development of the Real Estate Market, and the Working Group on Obesity Prevention at the Public Health Council.
She is a member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the Polish Cardiac Society (PTK). For several years, she has served as President of the Beskid Regional Branch of the Polish Medical Society.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków. In 2019, she obtained an MBA in Healthcare Management.
