Dominika Maison

Professor of psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Warsaw. In addition to her academic work, since the early 1990s she has been actively involved in social and marketing research, successfully combining theory with practice. She is the founder and owner of Maison & Partners, a company specializing in strategic marketing research. She collaborates with numerous academic institutions worldwide, including in the USA, Belgium, and Indonesia.
Her research interests include consumer psychology, social marketing, and the role of emotions in advertising and consumer decision-making. She is the author of over 150 scientific publications and several books, including Psychologia konsumenta (PWN, 2014), The Psychology of Financial Consumer Behavior (Springer, 2019), and Qualitative Marketing Research: Understanding Consumer Behaviour (Routledge, 2026).
From 2003 to 2008, she served as President of the Polish Society of Market and Opinion Researchers (PTBRiO). Between 2008 and 2016, she was the Polish representative of ESOMAR, the world’s largest organization for marketing research professionals.
