Oskar Zięta

Architect, process designer, artist, and ETH Zurich graduate. His interdisciplinary endeavours of Oskar Zięta seamlessly blend design, engineering, and bionics. Each project represents a meticulous study of the properties of metal, techniques for stabilizing it, and optimization of form. At the core of Zięta’s achievements lies his proprietary method of internal pressure forming of steel, known as FiDU (Freie Innendruck Umformung). Oskar Zięta’s endeavours have received numerous accolades, including Audi Mentor Prize 2011, the Red Dot Award 2008, the DMY Award for Innovation in Production Process 2008, the YDMI 2008, the German Design Council Prize 2009, the Forum Aid Awards 2009, Technology Award Materialica 2009. He collaborated with renowned brands: Audi, Architonic, Rado, and Pirelli. Two decades after his first inquiries into steel, in 2025, he is introducing the groundbreaking FiDU application in new mobility, an enduring ultralight manifesto-tool of the future - Ultre 4 Cargo™.
