Under her leadership, journalists work in extremely challenging conditions, reporting from the front lines and temporarily occupied territories while covering key issues such as the economy, culture, social change, and human rights. Musaieva emphasizes the importance of human stories that help deepen understanding of reality and shape public discourse.
Her contribution to the development of independent journalism has received broad international recognition. She was included in the TIME 100 list and has received awards from the Committee to Protect Journalists, the Center for European Policy Analysis, and Reporters Without Borders, as well as the Knight International Journalism Award and the Free Media Awards.
