Aron Gereben

Áron Gereben works as Deputy Adviser - Senior Economist at the European Investment Bank’s Economics Department. He has done substantial work on the economic growth and investment dynamics in in Central and Eastern Europe. He is also carrying out research on the links between finance and innovation, and on the impact assessment of public support to access to finance. Prior joining the EIB, Áron was Director of Financial Analyses at the National Bank of Hungary. He has a background in central banking, and held various management and analytical positions in the National Bank of Hungary and in the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
