Dr Goetz von Thadden is Head of Unit for Financial Instruments in the Baltic Sea & Northern Europe department of the European Investment Bank (EIB). He has a long career in banking. Past positions include Head of Holding Funds & Advisory for South-Western Europe, Principal Advisor at the European PPP Expertise Centre, and Head of the EIB Office in Bucharest. Prior to joining the EIB, he worked for a private investment bank and before that for a management consultancy. He is a trained economist with a PhD from the London School of Economics.
