Martyna Czapska

Martyna is a member of the Warsaw IP Tech Practice Group at Baker McKenzie. She specializes in personal data protection, privacy and intellectual property law. She advises clients on privacy compliance, in particular in regard to data processing agreements, use of databases within capital groups, outsourcing of data processing, trans-border data flows and privacy infringements. She also participated in a number of GDPR implementation projects. Her intellectual property expertise includes copyright, preparing license agreements and transferring monetary copyrights, representation sons in disputes at pre-litigation and at the court stage. Martyna is a Polish qualified lawyer admitted to the Lodz Bar Association.
She is also a PhD candidate in the field of new technologies law at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
