Andrzej Nowakowski – Mayor of Płock
He has been associated with the localgovernment for almosttwentyyears. He is the Mayor of Płocksince 2010. Chairman of the Association of Communes of the Płock Region. Previously, in the years 2002-2007, he was a citycouncilor and a member of the Treasury and Budget Committee, then in the years 2007-2010 - a member of the Republic of PolandParliament, he was ontwocommittees: PhysicalCulture, Sport and Tourism and for European Union Affairs.
A Polishphilologist by education. He graduated from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and worked as a tutor in Władysław Jagiełło High School in Płock. He is a graduate ofExecutive MBA BCC management studies,conducted by the Business Center Club in cooperation with the Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development, the University of Gdańsk and RSM Erasmus University.
