Barbara Ziołkowska

Barbara Ziołkowska works as a Senior Procurement Specialist at the World Bank office in Kiev, Ukraine. She oversees procurement and contracting under World Bank financed projects in Ukraine and Poland worth over USD 3 billion in various sectors such as energy, water, transport, health, railways and agriculture. Before working on Ukraine, she has worked on Bank financed projects in Belarus, Moldova, and Romania. Barbara participates in the full cycle of projects preparation from the concept stage till implementation and final evaluation stages.  During project implementation stage, Barbara conducts due diligence of large value contracts for goods, works and services and provides implementation support to Projects Implementing Agencies including business outreach events for private sector.  Barbara has over 15 years of experience in international procurement and contract management in various countries of Europe and Central Asia Region.
